q-Gaussians and the SERS Spectral Bands of L-Cysteine and Cysteamine

Abstract

Here we consider the q-Gaussian Tsallis functions for being applied to analyses of Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectral bands, as we have previously proposed them for the deconvolution of Raman bands. The case studies here analyzed are those of L-Cysteine and Cysteamine in silver colloids, prepared with sodium citrate (data provided by Sherman et al., 2020).

Version Notes

In this new version, we added to the q-Gaussian deconvolution of L-Cys SERS data, the deconvolution of Cys (Cysteamine) SERS data. Also for Cysteamine, the q-Gaussians have a character which is more Gaussian than Lorentzian. An Appendix about data processing has been added too.
